I am a soul
This I know
Contained in a body, I am not alone
In this journey of life
We try to hide
The wrong from the right
I am a soul
This I know
As a small point of light
In this understanding of life
We become attached to many things
Holding our souls back from our universal goal
I am a soul
This I know
Living in the cycle of life and light
In this path, I don't know where I will go
As others tell me of places they have never been
I know my karma is my own
I am a soul
In this lifetime and through the next
I will always know
