Healing

sylviasearcher

Does time alone heal

Or patience too

Or is it the moment

Belief becomes you?

Waiting and watching

And reaching with hope

Accepting and knowing

So apathy can elope

A whisper, a voice

A squeeze of a hand

The humming is drumming

In faraway land

Is healing a feeling

Or a journey to choose

Is it more than the moment

When away fades the bruise?

The scar on your face

That never can fade

But maybe through healing

You can cherish its shade

Is healing forever

Or is it just for now

A lasting endeavour

Your promise? Your vow?

Will healing be ending

When you open your eyes

Or will it end with accepting

Your chosen disguise?

Healing comes when you accept the wonder in your life is real, that wonder WILL be there within you.

I get that some days. I really do

Healing comes with acceptance and not allowing the event to rob you of any more moments.
      A very fine write indeed

Acceptance is a big theme for me.
