Oh lover heart of stone
How did I come here all alone
To sit beneath this spreading tree
Without you here beloved by me.
You are somewhere with another
Being the sunshine in his summer
The babbling water in his brook
And I sit here in shade forsook.
Except your talk is all inane
And like to drive a man insane
And summer sun is well and fine
But winter follows close behind
Then the freeze and long dark nights
The lying and the constant fights.
Im better here with this fat book
And pity he who your heart took.

Woah wow bravo!! The first stanza sings soulfully on the jilted love but the niece stanza shows relief and the better off feeling, I think I would say sth like that if I leave my hit tempered hubby ever. Kudos for this awesome rhyming poem.
