We all have them in our lives,
Those fears come to us all.
Fear of moving forward,
Fear of moments,
Those moments that stop us,
Stop us progressing.
In our lives we need to move on
So we must face our fears.
Every time we face fear
They no longer remain a fear,
But enhance the strength in our life.
As we face each one
The strength within us increases,
The strength that will take us forward
Into each wonderful moment
That will be our future.

A true write Gold. Erm, is this based partly on the fear of hearing me sing?!
And why was I not afraid to speak the immortal words in 1066? - you know the ones.......!heehee.
That fear of hearing you sing has been accepted, I have probably heard worse than you.
Whatever it is that has created the fear, one is going to have to face up to it sooner or later..... so best just on with it..... 'simples!'
So true d a, once we face our fears our experience increases.
ANGELA HERE (10:30 pm) Good morning Uncle Andy. Love the VIDEO & The POEM. FEAR is natures warning to slow down or even STOP ! BRIAN has no fear when he sits on top of a waterfall (see Poem) and slides down. He has faith that the water in the pool will be deep enough ! The first time is the most scary ! I had a fear of coming to NZ and now I dont want to go HOME ! Brian and I have no fear of getting married because separation has proved our love and we are old enough (31 & 35) to endure whatever LIFE & LOVE may bring ! We see the next TEN YEARS (up to 2030) devoted to our Families and raising our own FAMILY and then who knows ! ?
BLESSINGS & PEACE to YOU & JOYCE
Love in the Spirit ANGELA & BRIAN ๐งก๐๐งก๐๐งก
Thank you Angela. As you realise once we face our fears life gets more joyful and we can move on in wonder.
We are not born with fear, it is instilled in us as a mechanism of protection
I would disagree with this Suresh as it has been shown that babies are born with the fear of their mothers not being there.
I for one know fear all too well. Thank you for writing this poem. We come out better on the other side!!
Thank you Christina, we always come out better in ourselves.
