A Poem-A-Day #22 - nothing suggested

Frank Prem

look around

I

turn around

to empty spaces

I look at them

look into them

quite closely

there is no

shape

at all

no silhouette

remaining

emptiness

is just a one

thing

it does not harbour

more

holds no secrets

beyond a kind

of transparency

that suggests . . .

nothing

That nothing that you see leaves your mind to fill the spaces.
