A Thimbleful of Seeds
Some men
have their faith
Some men
have a way of life
I have a thimbleful
of seeds
A fistful of weeds
A pledge an oath a creed
We Kenshi
call it Dokun
Some men
reach for the moon
Some men
clutch at straws
There are
those I know
Who would
gladly die for what
they most believe in
Love and life
Are my religion
and I would not hesitate
to die
For each of those

Fido was about to bark when he saw 'passion', but I said - not that sort of passion, Fido! heehee.
Phew, thanks Orchidee.... seems you did me a favour..... cheers... Neville
A list of emotive reasons why some believe strongly that love of life is to die for and with an ending stanza that states without doubt which camp your kind heart lies in......... a read to remember my friend.
Well thank you most kindly Fay..... and true................... Neville
My faith in My Spirit is unchanging and death has no mysteries as if I were to die for anyone or anything in My Life I know that I will always be with My Spirit.
Good thought provoking write Neville.

Could not agree more, since I believe Love and Life are everything. Here, you speak it well, with emotion and pride. In particular, I enjoyed the way that you organized your stanzas. Mix in some rhyme, some ideals, and you have a poem of seriousness about Man's existence. Short and to the point. Enjoyed all of it. - Phil A.
THank you kindly and muchly sir.... a most appreciated visit and true..... Neville
