A gentle sun peeks from the clouds
as we go in the water to wade
We hurry to our favorite spot
before the afternoon begins to fade
No swimming for me today
Not warm enough to take the dive
This place ~ surrounded by sand
dunes, makes me feel so alive!
Minnows flash over my feet
and a dragonfly speeds by me
Natures majesty is in this place
An afternoon extraordinary!
