Except the LORD, He build

The house, men do wield

Early, and your eyes

Restrain from sleep, and stay

For the LORD he gives to

His beloved, e'en you

Sweet sleep, and His peace sure

To abide e'er more

 

See, children that they be

An heritage free

Of the LORD, a reward

        I don't agree with that in my life as I rise early but do not refrain from sleep as I nap during the day and go to bed early - I get my 12 hours of sleep a day!

          Thank Gold. It may be in the context of over-working - late to bed, early to rise.
