Tune: Merrial
('Now the day is over')
Psalm 127
********
Except the LORD, He build
The house, men do wield
Their labour in vain for
It shall fail for sure
'Tis vain for you to rise
Early, and your eyes
Restrain from sleep, and stay
Awake late in day
For the LORD he gives to
His beloved, e'en you
Sweet sleep, and His peace sure
To abide e'er more
See, children that they be
An heritage free
Of the LORD, a reward
From His grace outpoured

Oohh, a choir in Hastings. I was in that choir, but in 1066, mind you! Were you in it too?!
Yes I was the bass in the corner, as far away from you as I could get!
Ahh thanks Gold. lol

I don't agree with that in my life as I rise early but do not refrain from sleep as I nap during the day and go to bed early - I get my 12 hours of sleep a day!
Thank Gold. It may be in the context of over-working - late to bed, early to rise.
I think it is important to focus on the family...
Focus is certainly preferable to neglect anyway....... N
Thanks N. Only one thing we need not focus on - ya know it? Me singing! lol.
true enough...
