It doesn't matter any more

Poetic Dan

Our home is like the tardis, I've put a magic ribbon on the door

As we walk in everything is forgotten, becoming what we want

Seeing the world in fresh new eyes, spin around to upside down

There's music inside every thought, a dance within every step

All you have to do is believe, have faith within your chest

Whatever you want it to be, dreaming endless possibilities

My children understand, they have the only key

As they showed the one, I had deep within me

I pass this message on, to any that are still lost

We all have the wisdom of many, dimensions in us

  • Comment from author about the poem: I used to tell my first two children we had a magic front door and when you stepped in everything became better, they never failed to believe, I just let life control me. I've forgive myself for not being able to keep a family home but together we made it and now we have a new castle to roam. With another light blessing on her way to remind us all where it begun, in love, joy and laughter living life to the full, believing anything you want!

Now when it comes to beautiful words i think you've created something special both for us to read today and in your family's life forever.

This is by far the most moving piece i have seen from you Dan.

"My children understand, they have the only key
As they showed the one, I had deep within me"

Those two lines are a thing of such beauty.

I got a knot in my throat reading your words and feelings where mine came from. Healing is slow and I\'m taking my time remembering all the little rhymes.
In each tear wash away my fear, thank you my friend.

      Always appreciated

Read several times now and I think this page is privy to some of your personal values, dreams and belies that may not be evident just by reading ..

These words need to be considered slower than just a casual read or flick through.. Note to those who may follow... Enjoy them and leave your mark for a guy who is determined to move forward... N
