(0ne two three)
This is me
Dancing a
Waltz (two) with
Too many
Faults (two). The
Lady I'm
Holding is
Doing her
Best (two) to
Fathom my
Movements; she
Knows how to
Dance but ex-
pects me to
Guide her a-
round the dance
Floor; (two) there's
Really no
Chance.(two) We
Try to con-
verse but this
Makes things much
Worse and I
Wisely sug-
gest that it's
Probably
Best if we
Admit de-
feat and go
Back to our
Seat and watch
Those who can
Do it en-
joy this un-
natural
Act, designed
For folk with
Three (two three)
Left (two three)
Feet (two three).

HI RONNIE ~ WELCOME TO MPS ! Thanks for your first Poem ~ Love the shape ! From line 12 you highlight a common problem faced by most Men ! Ladies are taught to dance @ School ~ but Men (with two-left feet) are expected to lead. Its the opposite with CRICKET ! My FIANCEE ANGELA (with whom I share this site) is a Flemenco Dancer and a good Ballroom Dancer. I am competant but I often reach a *point of no return* (as you suggest in line 25) and I long to go back to the BAR ! Ladies hate to leave the floor and often resort to dancing with a Female friend ! My MUM loves STRCTLY and also watches TAKE TWO wit Zie Ball @ 6:30pm ! Thanks for sharing more please ! Please check the Poems on our site !
Yours BRIAN & ANGELA !
Thanks for this. I can play very complicated rhythms but can't dance for toffee!
