Elders are the question, youth are the answer

Poetic Dan

First there has been flicking of light and sound

One is constantly there, others just float around

Moving and absorbing, all the energy yet to meet

Slowly from the dark, awaiting the time to embark

The moment of enlightenment, is when we take that first breath

Adjusting to bright, ready to start living the school of life

Forever a master of the dark but a student of light

Born to make a rhythm, like no other soul in sight

Any time in the next month or so, I'll be blessed to witness life being born

Adding the number to three, a perfect triangle within me

I truly know what I don't know, ready to rediscover lifes beautiful flow

With more memories to hold, nothing else matters every day we get old

Remembering the little things, before time moves it on

If that day comes when I actually listen, I'll be sing from the rooftops

But I'd be lucky if it's not before, my mind and body can't keep up

I guess then that is why the answer will always be in the young

Their view is honest until they come and ride along us

My job is to keep that balance and connection to love

No reason to lose touch with our youth but do not dismiss the wisdom of your years, a thing which youth can never possess. Until of course it stops being youth.

Know this to be your responsibility, not your possession.
Extend your hand to hold on, your laughter to smile for, your intellect to share.....

A great homecoming for the unborn! In my advancing years, youth is behind me, but I would still like to think, life's endless gifts await.

That they do, maybe like pass the parcel until you get to the end.
Today I posted the same feeling, like a cycle my friend. It is slowly getting better just hard to see when your peddling.

                      Always appreciate your time
                      Much peace and respect
