Retrospect

Jabberwocky

That decision I made that Monday

I thought it pretty good

By Wednesday it still seemed

That opinion stood

A year went by and still

I’d made the choice I should

But seven years now later

For thought it’s offered food

And you’ve decided now

You’d undo it if you could.

Some decisions are made in error but only experience can tell us where they were wrong.
