Those Mystic Midnight Moons.

kevin browne

Those mystic midnight Moons
Where Galileo glossed his eye
His thoughts clear as this day
Those red rose flowers bloom
So curved a piece up in the sky

Brightened stars, planets and life
Wrapped-around a lover so shy
Fear sweating like a hosepipe
And underneath the covers cry

If it gets early again at midnight
To render the thought overseas
Blue Whales are whistled height
Where missing fish flap a, please.

Those squeaky humps of moggy mud
Although the sense has left in admire
He there he once was so full of blood
And until those spiked upon a bonfire
Sat disappeared to dusk and to dawn
To have an awake in blossoming scent
Leaves on pathways, stones on the lawn

As night then fading into distance days
Where loved one join hands in grace
There they live loving the love away
To find and leave me in my place.

Hey Kevin.. these words have the making of a great poem, some very memorable lines and just about the right amount of mystery about them.... Neville
