Fire & Ice

PoeticBiscuit

She is that of ice,

So beautifully pristine,

Solid in foundation,

Yet fluid if she needs,

Too bad I’m that of fire,

Exploding at the seams,

These two don’t mix very well,

So we could never be,

I really want to hold you but...

Id only melt you at my touch.

  • Fay Slimm.

Good comparison of fire and ice - - I suspect lots of relationships have to cope with the fact that opposites attract......... thanks for this thought provoking read .

Opposites attract but doesn’t mean it’s always meant to be!

She melted away at my mere glance. She told me i could never put a fire in her heart.
I have met the Ice Woman and survived.

AS Joni Mitchell wrote "if there's one rule to this game it's - be cool .... fifty fifty fire and ice"

Polar opposites attract. Nice comparison. You might only melt enough to get closer, maybe your fire will fill in a good way. Thanks for this one 🙂

Ice puts out fire, fire melts ice , nothing left but ashes - there's a lot to be said for compatibility - aw I'm getting philosophical - fine write PB.

Feel free to be philosophical, I’ll listen to every bit!

              • Neville

the unity of opposites does not always apply.... concept applauded though....... Neville
