Perception

PoeticBiscuit

I am falling, no

Maybe I’m flying?

Guess that depends

On my perspective,

I could be dying, or

Merely just ending,

A chapter of this life,

Based on what I think,

We can see the beauty,

Of the roses or just,

The thorns that oppose

Us, using our minds

It’s not easy to change,

The perspective but,

If it’s your objective,

Your life will get better.

I think as we age, our perspective changes and hopefully for the better. This is very well written! Great job!

That’s true, when we’re young we still have lost of wisdom and life experiences to learn! That’s why I love talking to elderly people, the things they say can really blow your mind.
