Of Love and Grief
In life’s suburbs
There were two neighbours
Joy and Happiness with the daughter Love
Pain and Sorrow with their son Grief
Though they never socialised
They took comfort in knowing each other was there
For one could not exist without the other
One day when they were older and their parents were memories
Love smiled at Grief and saw him differently
Grief smiled back at Love and neither was scared
They took comfort knowing they grew up on that same street
In life’s suburbs

A stunning picture-verse of imagery Andrew which points readers to more understanding of what goes on in "life's suburbs" - a more than fine piece of writing.

HI ANDREW ~ Thanks for caring & sharing ! In every thing there is Positive & Negative but between them EQUILIBRIUM is restored & maintained ! Joy & Pain ~ Happiness & Sorrow ~ Love & Grief. In my experience (due to circumstances) our inividual lives can swing between these extremes ! In any Family & Communty we ALL need each other at ALL times to establish and maintain SOCIAL EQUILIBRIUM ~ AMEN
Blessings & Joy to YOU & YOURS

A fine write Andrew.
What a wonderful write Andrew. Yes opposites attract.
An amazing outlook, one cannot survive without the other.
Absolutely brilliant write, Andrew.
