Each day I get up and the thrill is there.
What will I do today?
There is always something to do.
My life is so full,
Each day is wonderful,
As I am here to enjoy them,
And will enjoy all my days.
Then the reality hits me!
My loved one has gone!

A sensitive write Gold. Hope I don't spoil it by crooning that song.
Thank you Orchi. don't worry you won't spoil it.
With your situation, some of the words of the song seem reversed, where one has found one's love (person). 'I guess they understandโฆ.'
Hope we do. Now I can't see to write more, in this haze of tears.
Thanks UNCLE ANDY ~ Brian here ! Thanks for a beautiful SONG (Classical Folk !) and an equally beautiful POEM ! Angela & I can empathise (in a small way) because of our mutually agreed separation (11k miles) for 15 months. But we both know (DV) that come OCTOBER we will be together for time & eternity ! I am sad (like you) on Days which offer wonderful opportunities to do wonderful things together which I either have to forgo or do without Angela. Alas for Joyce & Yourself those times are gone forever and we are all SAD for you. Thanks for caring & sharing !
Blessings & Peace for YOU & JOYCE
Yours BRIAN ๐๐๐๐๐
Thank you for your kind thoughts A and B much appreciated.
You can take comfort that when your lovely wife sees you Andy she sees the best you possible and the time you have together is GOOD time
Touching sensitive write today

Thank you FineB, much appreciated.
So much empathy for you my friend. Some wonderful words are written and the words of this song seem so fitting for your plight.

Thank you d a, yes that song had me in tears.
I'm sorry it was painful, I knew it would be. But tears are a necessary thing and after each flood give a positive regathering of ones spirit.
Thou there, but a companion no more.
thou loved, but a lover no more
Thou you care, but care for no more
Thou not together, but together forever and more.
Thank you Suresh, yes 'together forever and more' - so true.
