It's be fun but she had to go

Poetic Dan

She may be going but the memories will live on
You was our first and never can you be forgot
The music you played every trip that we made
Enough room for the us to have dirty weekend
This space you provided was all we ever needed
For me and my lady with the family we're raising
On the motorways or through the beautiful landscape
You help show us people and the world that we live
Teaching me knowledge that I have stored within
It's polite to use the door but not when the windows open

You was my first
You are my friend
I know your be watching
When I do it again

Forever in our hearts
Kiwi is to us

  • Comment from author about the poem: Just a bit of fun, although buy used cars can be far from it! One day I'll be able to get one brand new, until then I'll play the trading game! Or should I say my lady will!

Ahh yes that first car and learning how to repair it. All those adventures.

Thank you for bringing back those good old memories.

Lots of things, even cable ties to hold the gear linkage in place! Never knew you could, I'm sure they should put them up there with gaffer tape!

That first car is always special. If ever I was going to do a trip over 100 miles I would service it!
