the actress

dusk arising

when i first met you
i gave you the thing you wanted
out to please
you called me 'loveman'
and you'd jump and scream with such passion
beyond belief

              man i was aching
              back breaking
              on my knees
              but you were scheming
              misdameaning
              such a tease

you stole my money
thats funny?
what you want?
you trashed my motor
my baby 'Roller'
cos u dont like the colour
and drained the sump

                said i was speeding!
                are you dreaming?
                in a funk
                and i been hearing
                you been seeing
                some new punk

you hit my mother!
oh brother!
i dont believe it
you take the cake
you torched my plastic
with a matchstich

pause.....      and have the nerve to tell me
                             the curse is late!!!

                 well you can stuff-it
                 i've had enough it's
                 much too late
                 take a run and
                 jump in -
                 to the lake

when i first met you
let you have things u wanted
i was out to please
you called me 'loveman'
you'd jump and scream
so well rehearsed
                                      ......  i was so naive

                   a little actress
                   upon my mattress
                   Ms mischief
                   one more showgirl
                   with the know how
+                 on the street

    Hello Dusk Arising,

    What a wonderful write.

The actress is definitely the kind of woman every man should be beware of.

    Keep writing FineB

  • Fay Slimm.

This tale of a female who abuses what life and love offers makes for a song many relate to in this age of unhappy relationships - - it pays not to be naive - -- good read D.A.

Another one that sounds good in the head when read aloud... a catchy little number that either got away, or you threw back.... Nice one whatever the case....... N

Another great set of lyrics, that woman is certainly best left in the past.
