I don't know

Aa Harvey

I don’t know

In your smile, I feel locked in love; no longer alone.

I don’t know, I don’t know;

I don’t know why I love you so.

We are him and her

And he and she;

Will we always be…you and me?

I don’t know if we will love each other forever;

I don’t know if we will drift apart.

I don’t know if this is as good as life gets,

Or if you could make it become even better.

All I know is…

I want to remain a little piece of your heart.

    Well described 'high' of love together with it's nagging fears of continuance.

    Appreciate the days of those loving highs for they will pass. Capture them into your many verses so that you may read them in the years ahead of you and be taken back...... to when magic ran in your veins.
