As Time Appears

Tayama

She sits at the table writing, with bangs in her eyes,

So diligent, it still takes me by surprise,

I see the gray and I could care less,

Even though to her, she struggles so hard as the years pass,

Worthy of her love? It will never cease to amaze,

The woman who brought me grace,

She always falls asleep first,

When I always think of her verse,

No matter what you've done, I've forgiven you,

And even now, I often cant believe you do,

We often live so many lives in the span of one,

Those moments of happiness that appear, still grab me so hard,

When I inhale you and realize I won...

I love you more now then that day, all those years ago,

When you turned and smiled, and said,

Lets go...
