A Recollection

Christina8

I remember that night in Cancun

we were at the club having a blast

I was picked to dance on the square stage

And I felt like a queen, beautiful and vibrant.

And when we danced together,

our symmetry and sensuality

was obvious as our wanton bodies

moved to the loud Latin music

I am reminded of that night

because earlier that day we

bought me a ring that I

still wear as a token of us.

We haven't gone on many vacations since

because I've been a stay at home mom

but I'll always keep that night in my heart

because we shared it together, my love

        • ANGELA & BRIAN

Ahhhhhhh CHRISTINA - Angela Here (11am Saturday) just enjoying a day off in the Sun !
CANCUN - South of the Border - Down Mexico Way
Thats were my heart fell in love with My Husband JAY !
Cancun - like the whole of Mexico is very Romantic and very Rhythmic. because I have Spanish Blood and am a Flamenco Dancer I dance all the time I am in Mexico especially to the Mariarchi Bands in Puebla & Mexico City. Mexico is a bit dangerous at the momemnt but Brian & I hope to visit when I return to the UK. The KIWIS are more laid back like the English (they like Line Dancing !) but the MAORI are more like me and love to Sing and Love rhythmic Dances.
Iam thrilled that You & Hubby love Latin Dances - You should move to the TEX~MEX border but I guess like all Americans you are a bit aprehensive of crossing the Border especiallywith TRUMP in charge and his ani-Hispanic attitude ! Hope you get a Chance to Dance in the *STATE* you are in - even if its only the *HOE DOWN* When Im with BRIAN (October come she will !) We find dancing keeps us Romantic. Ruth and I do go to dances in Auckland but the Men know we are unavailable and *Spoken For*. In the main the KIWIS (& MAORIS) have all behaved like Gentlemen ! Line Dancing of course is tactile but not sensual like Latin - especially the Argentinian Tango !
Thanks for sharing a lovely memory I can just visualise You Both in the Rhumba - Tango - Salsa & Pase Doble etc etc !

Blessings & Peace & Joy to YOU & YOURS
          Love in the Spirit ANGELA

Thank you Angela for that wonderful reply! I knew i couldn't share it in poetic form but I wanted to share it nonetheless.....yes, no matter how old you get you can't stop dancing!! When my husband and I dance sometimes people avert their eyes cause we get crazy but thats okay too! LOL Love in the Spirit--Christina

With added responsibilities our life style changes, but it's good that we can draw on memories so exquisitely recalled.

Thank you so much Suresh, I appreciate your kind reply and compliment!! Christina
