big old moon (paranoia)

dusk arising

that big ole moon come shine
into this frosty place
pushing my thoughts around
they start to fall in place

well who's that man i never meet
slippin and sliding around your door
        you try to be discreet
but you cold as ice and thats fo' sure
uh - huh    uh - huh

that big ole moon come shine
he tell me everything
of when i'm not about
he's spilling all the beans

who's in the car along the street
watchin, waiting, to see me go
you try to keep me sweet
but i guess its time that you should know
uh - huh    uh - huh

that big ole moon come shine
into this frosty space
turning my thoughts around
someone's to be displaced

THANKS FOR SHARING THIS DA ! Very instructive ! The MOON operates between dusk & dawn and sees everything so it knows who*s been playing loose who*s faithful ! It has its time cut out with Angela & I ~ 24/7 ! We are not only 11,500 miles apart but also 11 hours ! So when its NIGHT for ANGELA its DAY for ME and vice-versa. So far the MOON has not reported any shenanakins despite a year apart !
Love your Poem / Song ! Every SONG normally starts with a POETIC LYRIC ~ except YESTERDAY which started for Paul Mc with a tune ! A lyric has to SCAN and normally has some form of Rhyme Pattern ! Many *POEMS* on MPS lack both and fall (down) into the genre of *MODERN POETRY* ! Love the structure & subject. Vs 1 2 3 iform us how the MOON informs on observed infidelity and this is amplified in Choruses 1 & 2. Great SONG & great POETRY !

    Blessings & Peace & Joy
    Yours BRIAN & ANGELA ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’™

That's what moonshine whiskey does, it spills all the beans - HUH!!!! - better not to disclose my inner secrets.
It would be nice to get into the writers head, to feel what encourages them to write such alluring songs.
