The preacher stood there and said it,
He said “Apathy is a great enemy”.
Yes if we do nothing
And those around us are doing wrong,
Apathy is an enemy.
But if those around us
Are doing wrong to get a reaction,
A reaction from us,
Apathy is a great weapon.

A fine write Gold. I thought you was gonna say: The minister started off: 'Apathy is... ..' and the congregation had already dozed off! heehee.

Thanks UNCLE ANDY ~ BRIAN here. Im still laughing at the SILENT MONKS version of the HALLELULAH CHORUS ! Im posting it to several of my Friends who conduct Choirs and daring them to Practice it for CHRISTMAS. We have a bit more LIBERTY in Evangelical Circles ! We often do Choruses with the Kids with Words on Boards ! YOUTUBE is mine of Goodies. Check Angelas poem with CAT STEVENS "Morning has Broken ~ Beautiful Video !
I agree with the sentiment in your Discourse. For those who would provoke us A Gentle Answer or No Answer does (in my experience) turn away wrath. Thanks for caring & sharing.
Blessings & Peace to YOU & JOYCE
Love BRIAN & ANGELA
