unconditional love

mayaicar

I’ll be lying in bed and my mind will wander,

I’ll lie there and toss and turn and ponder,

“What did I do to deserve this life?” I wonder,

There’s times when I feel like I can’t take the pain any longer,

But deep in my chest I do believe I am stronger

Because my whole life I’ve been made out to be a wronger.

See, because when I lost you I lost part of me too,

You were the one who taught me how to tie my shoes, kept secrets only you knew, cared for me and always stayed true,

So it really does hurt and some days the sky doesn’t seem blue,

But I know I’ll always be able to make it through

Because I repeat the words you left with me,

“It will all be okay and I love you”.
