Dear Sun

Tia Davis/テイア

Dear sun

I thought to never talk to you these many years to come

I treated you like a enemy

Even though you where so kind to me

I pushed you away because your kindness to me was just a tease

How you shine so bright surrounded by light

Impossible to me

And I was blind to see many things

now all that stops here

When you come up and I look in the sky

I wonder why I hated you so much

Why you made me cry

But you know what they say

You only hate the things you fear

Or you can't have

I had no light I had no energy

I was comfortable with night the sun coming up just seem nonessential to me

Everything that haunted me did it at day

In a way like if it was wearing a mask laughing in my face

It knew I was acting

Knew I was faking a smile

Watched me

Answer the question if I was ok and how was my day

I hated it

I hated you

How you shined on my skin allowing people to see me within

I hated that

And that's the truth

But now all that has changed

I never want you to fade away any of these days

You are now apart of my parade

Showing the me that I am today and proud to be

You are helping me and now I see

And Im in love with me

In love with the light

That shined bright on me

Now that I allow

Now I want you to stay and be forever apart of my parade

Never to go

Never to fade

Dear sun Don't go away
