Strength And Courage

Tune: From Strength To Strength

('Soldiers of Christ arise'; 8-line verses)

Joshua Chapter 1 part

**********

Joshua, now be strong

Trust the Lord all along

For it is He that commands you

To be firm, strong, and true

And do bold courage take

Progress in the Lord make

Enemies not before you stand

When you led by God's hand

Turn not to left or right

Keep the Lord in your sight

Take and read the book of the law

It shall be your help sure

I the LORD your God shall

Be with you, guide you well

Wheresoever you go, I stay

With you through night and day

So onward they did go

God's presence they did know

To enter Promised Land for sure

To enemies conquer

Lead us on too, Lord, here

By faith to us appear

Possessing land through Christ your Son

The victorious one
