Some people cant cope with EXCELLENCE and want all of LIFE to be a

LEVEL PLAYING FIELD.  Soen schools have done away with Prize days

and Sports Days so there are no Winners or Losers !  REAL LIFE is not

like that  we all WIN some & we all LOSE some ~ that how we learn to

develop Socially & Spiritually !  In Science Mendeleev ~ Marie Curie ~

Crick & Watson ~ Buzz Aldrin & the other Astronauts all strove for

EXCELLENCE and made discoveries form which we have all benefited !

The same is true in Art - Music - Drama - Film - Literature - Dance & Sport.

Those who excel in these Fields bring Pleasure to millions every day. I will

never win a Nobel Prize in Science (Marie Curie has TWO) and ANGELA will

never be a Professional Concert Pianist ~ BUT  *We do what We do do well

& always strive for EXCELLENCE ~ AMEN !* LOVE Brian & AngelaπŸ’™πŸ§‘πŸ’™πŸ§‘πŸ’™

We must all strive for excellence, and give everything all we can.
NO WINNERS, NO LOSERS = NO MOTIVATION, WHICH ONLY PRODUCES MEDIOCRITY

THANKS SURESH ~ We agree we must always strive for excellence ! A laissez faire attitude (What will be will be) always produces mediocricy We are all born with different opportunituies and different gifts (aptitudes & abilities) but it is making the best of those opportunities & abilities that makes us an Adult ! In my JOB I help Adults (16+) with SPECIFIC NEEDS (physical & mental) to overcome their limitations and find their niche in the WORK PLACE. Angela assists Clients with Prosthetic Limbs etc to return to the WORK PLACE. The PARALYMPICS are a great example to us all ~ AMEN Who we are is GODS gift to us ~ What we make of ourselves in OUR GIFT back to GOD !

Blessings & Peace to You & Yours

I agree. Though in music most of use achieve enjoyment and satisfaction rather than striving for that excellence. As an amateur/ex semi-pro musician the following phrase taught me my limitations - "an amateur will practice till he gets it right - a professional will practice until he cannot get it wrong"... that would really take a lot of time and dedication and passing through pain barriers.
To envy is said to be a sin (i can't agree with that in the moderrn useage of the word) but i am envious of those musicians of excellence.

THANKS DA BRIAN here ! Iagree with your comments especially about MUSIC ! Both ANGELA & ! are AMATEURS ~ because most of out effort has gone into our Professions which has required much study & dedication. Although my ability to play Classical Guitar was a big (positive) factor when I asked Don Pedro's permission to become engaged to ANGELA ~ also the factor that I liked Rioja ! Angelas pianistic skills have come in useful now she is a Member of My Evangelical Church ~ She accompanies the Organist on Keyboard and plays recitals for Church Concerts. I love John Williams on Classical Guitar (he is 86) and gave a recital recently in our Area ! I am always in admiration (envious ?) of his virtuosity !

          Blessing & Peace & Joy

"If your dreams don't scare you they are not big enough"
Go for your dreams by always trying your best in your life.

Thanks UNCLE ANDY ~ My Biggest Dream did scare me ~ thet one day ANGELA would be my WIFE. Neither of us had been engaged and Angela was happy to take that step. Im old fashioned (as you may have noticed) and the biggest hurdle was seeking an audience with Don Pedro (a very possessive Spanish PAPA) and asking for His Beloved Angelas hand in Marriage. I had met MAMA & PAPA once or twice and (because of all my *Spanish* attributes and being a Lecturer in Food Science - including Wine !) we got on well. The interview in his very impressive Office *Man to Man* went well an I got the JOB as a suiatable Husband for Angela & Son in law for PAPA & MAMA ~ AMEN ! I thought that not being a CATHOLIC would be a big hurdle but he was impressed the I was a Deacon in my own Church. He convided in me that Angela has described me as *A VERY SPIRITUAL MAN* ~ AMEN ! All thisngs fit into a pattern for GOOD to them that love GOD. Dreams can come true and we Toasted the Union with a Bottle of Vintage Rioja Tinta ! I was not driving !

Blessings & Peace to to YOU & JOYCE
Love in the Spirit BRIAN & ANGELA
