A tasty write B&A. Fido won't let me have Chicken Bang Bang! I will hide his Winalot! lol.

    • ANGELA & BRIAN

HI UNCLE STEVE - ANGELA here ! At your age FIDO is being very sensible and protective. The MAORI like a version of BANG BANG ! I addition to SESAME OIL it contains Chilli - Garlic - Ginger - Onions & Soy Sauce a real head blower ! Pleased you enjoyed the Presentation ! Always check the ingredients and degree of hotness (CHILLI SIGN !) It is a paradox why they call something so hot a CHILLI ! Its not ONAMATPEIC !

Blessings to You & Doctor Dog

Fido must know every word, I reckon. He knows more than me! I said 'Pardon, Fido, Onamat-wotsit'?! I saw a friendly Fido today, bounding towards me, a fair size dog. Then he saw me again in a different part of some woods.

Yes i agree, definitely improved by a sauce... im using korma at the moment, my stomach wont take anything too spicey just now.

        • ANGELA & BRIAN

Thanks for your coments Yes it is a cullinary paradox that some meat such a LAMB only requires a touch of Rosemary or hint of Mint to ameliorate the flavour ~ whereas Chicken solo is pretty tasteless ! Angela & I love KORMA and often had one with rice for Supper (9pm) because it is mild coconut rather than hot spice !

Blessings & Peace to You & Yours

What a deeeeliciousss read - indeed a saucy addition to normal fried chicken - - hhmmm now excuse me for leaving to get my brecky of fruit and oats while planning dinner with - yes -- plenty of organic chicken....

          • ANGELA & BRIAN

ANGELA here ! Thanks for your comments FAY pleased you are using ORGANIC CHICKEN being a battery Hen is a miserable life ! We of cours use a lot of LAMB in NZ. It is besy with just a touch of ROSEMARY or a hint of MINT ! Chicken does need a sauce to lift its flavour. In a restaurant I always choose Chicken or Lamb - Beef in casseroles and never Pork. Brian & I both have qualifications in Nutrition so we are particular about FOOD. We both prefer KFC to Mc's or Burger King. We have visited the original KFC in Kentucky - AMEN !

            Blessings & Peace & Joy

BRIAN here ! HI UNSUB thanks for your very interesting comments on the KFC Conspiracy Theory ~ Coming from ANGLESEA I guess you would be interested in the Supernatural. Its true what you say KFC does seem to defy Time & Space. Ive been to the Original in Kentucky (The wierdest State in the USA !) and the taste etc was identical to the ones we have in Essex ! And yes they are are not spacious enough for what they do ~ also they never run out. Once @ Church we had about 100 turn up for an FCS (Fish an' Chip Supper) we were about to order from a local CHIPPY when someone sggested why dont we have KFC instead ? I was well known at the KFC so I said I would go and investigate ! I said we want 100 standard KFC dinners for a Fund Raiser at the Church. he said when I said 10 minutes ! He said OK we'll deliver @ £5 per box (£5OO) you can pay later. I got back said its on its way ~ 10 minutes later the Van turned up with the KFC and 4 waitresses to serve us and make sure every one had a Drink etc. I charged every one £10 (It was a Fund Raiser for Lesotho) and we also served Strawberries & Cream and Coffee. Everyone had a great time and the Veggies had QUORN KORMA ! There were two miracles ! ONE I still dont know how they managed 100 portions in 10 minutes. TWO I hadnt told them it was a *Fundraiser for Africa* but when I came to pay the BILL (£500) they denied all knowledge and said we would want at least a weeks notice for such an order ! When I told them @ the Church next Sunday they were amazed and said it was the best Chicken they had ever tasted and became regulars @ KFC ! We had a Faith Offering on the Sunday and it raised another £500 and we were able to send £1000 to Lesotho towards a Community Centre. The Strawberries had been donated by a local Farmer !

            Thanks for SHARING
            Blessings & Peace
            Yours BRIAN & ANGELA

I too enjoy chicken and cook it in many ways.
As to the KFC conspiracy I wouldn't know as I have never been in a KFC shop, I am a firm believer in cooking form scratch and have been cooking for over 60 years.
Joyce and I did go into a McDonalds once back in the 1980's and I swore I would never go in one again, a promise kept!

            Good tasty write.

ANGELA HERE ! Thanks for your comment - Alas take-away meals are on the increase ! The problem is you have no control over the nutritional content or quality. Always too much SALT & too much FAT.
I love your singlemindedness about KFC & McDonalds - With BRIAN & I its the Lottery & SPIRITS which put people over the limit with a single glass ! However my MAMA trained me in *Home Cooking* so we will mainly have home cooked - when we set up HOME in 2020. My only prerequisite for a PAD is a MEGA KITCHEN - OK. BRIAN & I love to cook - TOGETHER ! BRIANS fave pop TV is *Come Dine with Me* !

Blessings & Peace for YOU & JOYCE
