Lost love

Jeffrey Roy

Five years have passed since we split

Yet my love for you has never quit

To say I’m doing fine would be lying

The loss of your love feels like dying

I miss you morn and night time too

Tears run down my face as I think of you

Missing your sweet love in every way

If only I could’ve convinced you to stay

Will the broken heart ever stop hurting

The promise I failed has torn me apart

The loss of your love is worse than ever thought

If only you could know how sorry I am

My dream is someday you’ll love me again

    Amazing! How the anguish shows.
Five years and still nurturing hope. May she read this and come running back. If not, maybe time to move on. Good luck.

Oh there's such feeling and raw emotion here... Lost love or unrequited love is surely one of the worst feelings to endure. The loneliness it brings forth.... Oh your poem may have sent me down memory lane a little...

    Wonderful words Jeffrey.

Good Raw write that channels how a Heartbreak is the worst feeling ever.
Unfortunately once you love someone you'll always love them.
They say a man only learns how to love after a loss.
The good thing about that is that moving forward you become a better man.
    Good Luck.
