ASPENS IN AUTUMN ~ They are Awesome
In lovely lively Colorado Springs (USA)
Golden - Yellow - Red & Orange
And every AUTUMN Morn the CARDINAL sings !
The Mighty Oak in English Winter
Majestic branches spread for all to see
Bowed down with snow they do not splinter
But proudly wait for SPRING ~ thats soon to be !
Sweet Chestnut blossoms in the SPRING
Blossom laden pink & white
Time for the City Birds to sing
At such a lovely pretty city sight
Sycamore best seen in SUMMER
When the flowers & spin-seeds come
Its leaves in SUMMER are a stunner
The frolics of their twirling spin-seeds are such FUN !

In NEW ZEALAND Southern hemisphere the Seasons seem out of phase
with the Months of the Year ! Weve just had Winter (June - July - August)
and now its Spring in September - BUT the Trees in NZ tell us what Season

Hhola CHRIS ~ Como estes ? Gracias por tu comentario ! Yes indeed Autumn is especially beautiful in the UK & the USA. We have been in Aspen Colorado in the Fall also New England. It is not just the colours that impress us BRITS it is the shere scale of it especially the 100 mile view in NY State. We have lost most of our Forseats in the UK so we are lucky to get 100 yards view !

Yes the seasons are so distinctive by the look of the trees, we are just coming into autumn, the most beautiful in natures colour scheme.
Angela here (almost 7pm TUESDAY just relaxing after Dinner Lambburgers with veg & mash & Kiwi fruit with cream - Healthy Eating ?) Thanks for your comments Yes Sunrise / Sunset (rotation gives us a Day) and rotation round the Sun (365.25 Days) then 52 Weeks & 12 Months and of course Hours - Minutes - Seconds etc by which we (all) measure time in the 21st C ! But Nature dictates the SEASONS in the UK ! Autumn (S O N) Winter (D J F) Spring (M A M) Summer (J J A) and topsy turvy in NZ but Im getting used to them. The leaves lose their CHLOROPHYLL in Autumn to conserve the Trees Energy in Winter. This gives us all a spectre of all colours in the RAINBOWS SPECTRUM ! The most beautiful Season in any Year and (in Essex) still warm & dry enough to swish through the Leaves when I come HOME again next MONTH - AMEN !
