Throne Theophany

Tune: Laos Deo

('Bright the vision that delighted')

Revelation 4 v.7-11

*******

There around God's throne in heaven

Four beasts be, and spirits seven

Full of eyes, they rest not day, night

God unveiléd to their sight

Their worship, Holy and holy

E'en thrice holy their song be

To the Lord Almighty reigning

He was, is, e'er will be King

Then twenty-four elders joining

In the worship, they do bring

Worship to Him, before Him fall

He ever the Lord of all

He the one who lives for ever

And e'en for ever, never

Shall He die, nor cease, His Being

Eternal o'er everything

Casting crowns before Him, saying

You are worthy, Lord and King

To receive glory and honour

And power, it be yours sure

For you have created all things

All to you their homage brings

For your pleasure they are and were

Created, none praise defer

Thanks N. I shouldn't think their only words were 'Holy, holy, holy' for ever! But expressing aspects of holiness in praise and worship. I may tend to repeat my self though, I said I may tend to...โ€ฆ...

Thanks B&A. Yep, I can confirm that planet is there, 100 light years away, with life on it. I went there around 1066. I only just got back the other day in fact. Not that I got any scientific data, you understand. They said 'Coeeee, how's Uncle Brain and Aunty Angela, and that hound? Not seen them for a while!'
