I wanted a doctor so I crashed into their car, hoping they could help clean my wounds & scares.
I wanted the fire brigade so I set fire to my house, hoping they would show me how to contain myself
I wanted the police so I threatened people in the street , hoping they would tell me how to accept defeat
I wanted to find peace so I did all the drugs, hoping that my purpose would finally be understood
What I wanted and what I needed were two different things, I needed to take responsibility by not letting others or things do it for me.
My path is free
I respond with
Best of my ability

That is the right attitude and determination with which to see thru this existence to it's end Dan.
Always appreciated my friend it was going to be fun but I always turn into something I need lol
The equating of "want" with "need" that drives all of us into unknown territory-
Yes it is my friend, the unknown let's us know if it was really needed 😉
Here's a black humour joke - 'I wanted help, I called The Samaritans, but they were engaged!' Doh! It could only happen to me. (not a true story. Phew!).

Great last stanza Dan, you know where you are going in your life gained from the experiences in your life. Go forward into your new joyful life with happiness and love.
Andy.
