Heartbreak

vanessa wallace

I never knew how much heartbreak affects you

I thought we would stay as 'us'

But now it's just 'I'

You made so many heartwarming promises to me

Promises I thought you would keep

I really thought it would be forever

I'm such an idiot, aren't I?

Love. It's so bittersweet.

Thinking about you gives me a whirlwind of emotions

I smile and cry at the same time as I remember how beautiful our relationship was

Was.

    Heartbreaks are hard,
but it's better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all.....or so they say.
    Good writing

Such a heartfelt write Rose, lost loves can be hard to deal with but be assured there is somebody out there for you and you will be together forever.
