Tune: Lyons
(Ye servants of God, your Master proclaim')
Psalm 132 v.13-18
********
Praise, praise you the Lord, Zion* is His choice
Jerusalem, city, in Him rejoice
'Tis His habitation, he had it desired
Let praises be to Him, and worship aspired
The Lord says, Here be my dwelling place e'er
My people shall prosper, in it well fare
Here will my resting place be, sure says the Lord
His truth ne'er changes, it shall be as His word
He will bless their provision, give food all
To poor and hungry, they shall on Him call
He will clothe His priests with salvation's robes bright
His saints shall shout for joy, a glorious sight
There will He make the line of [King] David grow
Will establish governance, they shall know
Of His righteous ruling, His lamp shall shine there
His enemies shamed, but His people blessed fair

The Zion King was made into a movie I think
I do like Jerusalem ..... N
Thanks N. Thought I would add the explanatory note, in case folk thought Zion was in Timbuktu or somewhere! Erm, I mis-read the film list. I saw the Lion King instead. Doh! Well, the Zion King is called 'The Lion of Judah' too, so.....
...and on the west end biggest musical ever
