Teardrops From My Eyes.

kevin browne

Teardrops from my eyes, feeling alone in my heart
Creeping and crawling searching through the night
She got up and left me, left on my own, I fell apart
Watching and waiting for when it starts to feel right.

Shivering and shaking with a tremor in my veins
Dwindling and doting over the love caused pain
Holding and hurting, hurting where there's a life
And caused by a tremor waiting to hold you tight.

Living and loving with cursing of some tears
Shouting and hollering, roll back the years
When you feel helpless and when you feel
That the hurt inside which your heart will deal.

Thinking and thumping, thumping all over the place
Sleeping, dreaming along with some love and grace
Into somewhere where you've never been seen
But the fighting and blood whatever does it mean.

To cherish and doubt deep inside yourself
Traumas and tantrums then whatever else
Teasing and taunting leave us alone, please
Walking and writing about a summer breeze.

Cooking and potions, but what's in the pot
Thinking and laughing at what you've not got
Touching, feeling with love and understanding
Flying high and above caused a bumpy landing.

With a heart close to me
It'll be love and tears gone
In the morning you'll see
That love isn't so wrong.

"Sleep on it, it'll look different in the morning". Such a glib saying but it's oh so true.
'Bed's too big without you' sang Sting but that feeling of a cold empty space next to you when u miss her is devastating. But life goes on and you stop feeling worthless. Experience the scenario several times and you find you actually know you're better off without 'Miss Wrong' and self knowledge/self worth has taken up residence in your soul.

Doesn't stop you and me reflecting back upon yesterdays both good and sad.... Me? I write pieces about yesteryear which take me right back to the moment when i re-read them.
You? ...you write mozaics of life's experience.
