I've Come Too Far To Quit Now

AndrewsPoetry

I've been down smooth roads,

and I've been down bumpy roads,

also I've been down rocky roads,

but I've come too far to quit now!

The Lord gave me this life,

but the devil has helped

too make the roads bumpy and rocky,

but I've come too far to quit now!

The Lord has made the meadows,

and all the trees in the forest,

also the Lord has made me

and my name is Andrew,

but We've all come too far to quit now!

  • ANGELA & BRIAN

AMEN BROTHER ANDREW ~ BRIAN HERE ! I share this site with ANGELA ~ my Fiancee who is currently in NZ on a Work exchange ~ she is coming home next MONTH ~ AMEN ! Angela & I are Committed Christians and our mantra is *When the ROAD is tough & steep ~ Fix you eyes upon JESUS* We are both trained Councellors ~ I teach APPLIED SCIENCE in a Techical College and Angela is a Pyysiotherapist. We have both councelled *would be suicides* but in every case we have shown such a step to be the *Waste of a ones Life Potential* and all we have councelled are making Progress. We have posted a Christian Hymn today *It is no secret what God can do* but it has met with opposition as well as approval. MPS is an empathetic site and I like the positivity in your first Poem ~ thanks for sharing ! MPS works by reading & commenting on each others POEMS ~ OK

Blessings & Peace to You & Yours

You have come through those bumpy and rocky roads and the road ahead may have small humps but your experience in life will deal with these.
    Welcome to MPS.
