navigating past the horizon

Jon Nakapalau

navigating past the horizon

we were looking for the place
that reflected setting sun in calm waters

and as evening fell
drifting into stillness i held your hand

even now after years have passed between us
i still remember that touch

that was so strong in softness.

Those memories are so fulfilling Jon.

When you get to the horizon never forget "Here be Dragons!"
