ANGELA & I ~ Each day meet lots of FOLK
Who are unhappy & discontent ~ Who
Live in the Developed World ~ so they*re not really broke
Dissatisfied & Miserable ~ how ever much the*ve SPENT !
We need to count our Blessings ~ look at what weve got
Compared with the majority ~ weve got quite a lot !
The SUN to keep us warm ~ Water fresh to drink
Ample food ~ affordable ~ for most of us I think !
Most of us get Water ~ cool -clean - fresh from the tap
Not from a muddy River ~ or a stagnant Well
There are plenty JOBS ~ if were prepared to WORK
Our air is clean and breathable as well !
ANGELA & I have to be content ~ To do our Jobs
In cheerful mode ~ for our Food & Rent !
ANGELA does not fret shes not a DOCTOR
And I am Happy in a TECH ~ not a University PROCTOR !
We*ll be Happy when we live together in my Flat ~ in ESSEX
Not in KESWICK ~ with its Lakes & Hills & Heather !
Were Happy with our Friends & Family ~ Kith & Kin
WE know we have all their support ~ through TICK & THIN !
SO ~ If you want to be HAPPY ~ in the skin you*re in
Just be CONTENT and do not fret ~ if you*re Chubby or you*re Thin
AVOID STRIVE ~ and *Always look on the Bright Side of Life !*
And always LOVE your PARTNER or your Husband or your WIFE !

We appreciate that there is a wide range of Ages & Stages & Wages
among Members of MPS. Our message is simply to *Count your
Blessings and be CONTENT with what you HAVE GOT and dont fret
about the things you HAVEN*T ! Half of the Worlds Population havent
even got a decent Pair of Shoes ~ how many pair do you have ???????
ANGELA &I do have a Car (and BIKE for Me !) but we dont own a
House and may have to live (when we are Married !) in my Flat
(£750 per Month !). House prices in Essex near the College &
Hospital start @ £250,000 and many are in excess of a MILLION.
We are not losing any sleep over accommodation and we will
worry about affording CHILDREN when we HAVE SOME ! Since
We met each other we have been CONTENT & HAPPY TOGETHER.

Me again! It's no excuse - you (and all of us) have to pay our taxes. That pic in the clip might make some folk furious, though some will laugh with him, for supposedly having beaten the 'system'. Fido's mad (angry) too, but he always is barking mad!

Being a TRUE SCOUSER my MANTRA was *KEN DODD for KING* Although my the Lads in Walton Prison were very disappointed when Ken didnt join them ! As far as I am concerned Ken paid a hundredfold in Chuckle Taxes with the pleasure & Joy & Happiness he brought to the whole Country ! I (BRIAN) only saw Him once and Im still laughing ! I bet Heaven is a much less serious Place now that Ken has arrived. He was a regular attender @ Liverpool Cathedral and my Cousin (who is a Server)) tells me He always put 50p on the Plate ! There will never be another SIR KEN DODD ~ RIP !

You have outlined the formula for attaining happiness and that is in being content with the moment - -- we can all work to improve conditions for more to attain the happy state but being happy within ourselves is the very first step to take -- a fine goal to aim for and to achieve and thank you dear duo for the needed reminder.
Angela here (9:30am Thursday - Clinic @ 11am !) Just catching up on MPS ! Good Evening FAY thanks for your positive comments - pleased you enjoyed the Presentation ! Brian & I were both raised in very suportive Christian Families and though neither of us followed our PAPAs Profession they have supported us as Students and in our Professional Life ! We are fortunate and count our Blessings every day. We know the next 10 years will be difficult - Setting up a Home - and raising a Family and developing our Careers ! Fortunately in my profession I can easily return after Maternity Leave (Im getting BROODY !) We know there will be stresses ahead but our resolution is to be CONTENT - which WE know will always result in Happiness - AMEN !
