AMERICANS HAVE 5 TIMES MORE CHANCE TO VISIT WOODLANDS !
In an Adult UK Woodland Survey ~ the responses were :
Woodland Sounds made us feel more HAPPY (40%)
Woodland Sounds made us feel more RELAXED (30%)
Woodland Sounds made us feel less STRESSED (24%)
Woodland Sounds made us feel less ANXIOUS (19%)
SOME confessed ~ They had NEVER visited a WOODLAND ! (19%)
Favourite Sounds ~ in order of preference were :
1. Birdsong 2. A running stream
3. Wind rustling in Tree Branches 4. SILENCE !
5. Wind rustling through Tree Leaves
6. Swishing through fallen leaves with ones feet
7. Waterfalls falling 8. Squelching through Mud !
9. All other Animal & Insect noises
10. Making tracks in fresh fallen SNOW !

Flat there is a small Wood & Stream & Lake ! Within 10
minutes I can be surrounded by Woodland Scents and

A fine write B&A. Nearest woodlands to us is about 15 mins walk away. We are not out in the sticks, though on the borders of our area there are various semi-rural things, lakes, wooded areas, river, nature reserves, etc.
Thanks UNCLE STEVE ~ nice to get *Out & About* in the Woods and give Frisky Fido a good run to tire him out ! Woods are great in Autumn ! A Kaliedescope of Leaves on the trees and even more to swish underfoot ! Youre never too old to Swish. Pleased you enjoyed our Presentation !

I do remember probably like some years ago when I joined this social group meet up with a regular talk. Then, when it comes to self-introduction, I talked about myself in a way that shows myself...as a nature lover and one man there said that it's an admirable thing.
It's been that way for me since I was young, like between colours and in video games (between those like fire and earth and all)...I tend to go towards green, grass, the forest.
Somehow, maybe because it is peaceful...I became so connected that I myself became someone who was peaceful and not active nor aggressive.

There is nothing like the woods. I can go in a few miles in any direction (except one or I'll be in the lake) and be in the woods......I love the silence and birds, etc.... Nice write!
BRIAN AQUI ~ GRACIAS CHRIS ~ Pleased you enjoyed our Presentation ! We have noticed that in the States there is much more Forest per sq mile than in the UK and more exciting Animals like Bears & Cougar & Chipmonks & Meercats etc. Also the vistas are spectacular in Autumn (Fall). Make the most of it before Winter comes. Due to Global Warming (caused by American Cars ~ JOKE ?) we dont get much SNOW but when it does Woodland is transformed into a Magical Winter Wonderland ~ AMEN
