Meditative Missive

Tune: Nun Danket

('Now thank we all our God')

Psalm 119 v.97-104

*********

O how I love your law

It my meditation sure

All the day, LORD, for you

Through your commands me renew

Wiser you have made me

Than my enemies, see

Though they e'er with me be

I trust your way plainly

I have understanding

More than my teachers can bring

For your testimonies

Are my meditation, these

Will guide me on your way

And keep me every day

More than the worldly-wise

I have, and none denies

Your precepts do I keep

I in your fold as your sheep

I have my feet refrained

From evil ways them restrained

So I might keep your word

Each treasure I have heard

With your judgements I stay

Uphold me still I pray

For you do teach me well

Of your ways inform, me tell

How sweet your word they be

To taste, sweeter than honey

And I will on them feed

They are a feast indeed

Your precepts true they be

And I hate falsity

I am a great fan of meditation in all its forms, or at least all those known to me... I enjoyed these words too by the way...... N

Thanks N. Now I must say 'Ommm' more often. Erm, but there's more to it than that!
