Each day I get up
It is darker.
One of these days
It will have to happen,
I will have to turn it on,
I will have to turn on the light!!
But not today,
The lightening showed me the way.

Ooh good write Gold. I forgot to turn on the light, and I fell down the stairs, while saying to myself 'Where's the light swiiitttcchhhh?!' Good impression there, eh, of the echo as I fell down the stairs?!
You may know the old joke: 'I used to be a werewolf, but I'm all right nnoooo-oooowwww!'
The nights draw in as we head toward another season. But ahead there is springtime too when the world explodes with life and hopefully we find ourselves refreshed and re-energised. I know i am hoping for dark days to pass and bring forth a light for the future.
Ah yes, it wont be long before it's dark at both ends of the day....

Yes lightening is forecast for the southern coasts today Andy -- it sure does illuminate a darkened room with a sort of excitement. Electric bulbs come a weak second to lightening's powerful force - - a lovely read and here's hoping thundery weather brought no more damage to your neck of the woods my friend.
