TEN COMMANDMENTS ~ FOR GOOD MONEY MANAGEMENT ~ OK
ALL ADULTS RECEIVE SOME MONEY ~ ITS HOW WE USE IT THAT COUNTS !
1. Dont give in to CRAVINGS ~ Put your MONEY into SAVINGS
2. Make sure you have a PENSION ~ to reduce your OLD AGE TENSION !
3. Always shop around ~ so the BEST DEALS can be found
4. Be WISE and dont be DAFT ~ Never have an OVERDRAFT !
5. Credit Card BILLS ? Pay monthly ~ for NO ILLS
6. If you are SMART ~ use a Loyalty Card !
7. If you*re WISE ~ You have got ~ A Rainy Day Pot
8. Always know Without Doubt ~ Balance of your ACCOUNT !
9. PLEASE avoid lending CASH ~ others treat it like TRASH
10. Unless theres a PERK ~ take your OWN LUNCH TO WORK !

to have JOBS with a reasonable SALARY (but no BONUSES).
We have have had the OPPORTUNITY to Study hard and Work
hard to be in Secure Posts (PHYSIOTHERAPIST and A LECTURER
in APPLIED SCIENCE) We really enjoy our JOBS and our JOINT
INCOME (and SAVINGS) will enable us to purchase ACCOMMODATION
when we get married next YEAR ! We spend carefully & never waste MONEY !

A wise write A&B. Oohh I know. I always go to the 99p shop. The £1 shop is far too expensive! Aww, why they call me 'tight'?! heehee.

Yes Indeed UNCLE STEVE - Profit margins are very small in POUND SHOPS so one of them has gone to the WALL ! Brian & I were brought up in Middle Class Homes (A Newspaper Editor & A Wine Merchant !) so were both taught the value of every PESO ! We shop @ ALDI (You know it makes sense) and Dine @ the HUNGRY HORSE - Good Food - Good Value - Good Company ! I have a fixed BUDGET for Clothes and Brian for gadgets ELECTRONIC & BOOKS ! Brian wanted a BOOK on BIOCHEMISTRY (£40) he got one on line for £1 plus £2:50 postage ! Both our Families are keen we get on the Housing ladder (BRIAN has an option to BUY his flat which is near the College & The Hospital !) With our savings and an interest free loan from both our parents we can afford it ! We are 31 & 36 not 16 & 21. Despite CLIMATE CHANGE we intent to start a Family (DEO VOLENTES) in 2021 - AMEN

I checked online (just a bit) on these 'commandments on money' but it doesn't really feel like...disinterest, but in a huge way...it is worth a lot when it comes to this poem.
Probably it's because I know you in the sense that you always share a part of your life in your post or your comment.
So when I read them, I do feel like...'bonding'?
I was looking for something in regards to money that could work like 'motivational', but it always has to be something which I can relate myself to...and this is the first thing.
An idea is to put this up on my wall...the wall of my room.

Angela & I are both TEACHERS (Physio & Applied Science) and we often find if we can reduce a difficult subject (like Budgetting) down to TEN DIGESTABLE RULES it makes it much easier to understand & remember ! Thats how Folk Lore flourished before writing or printing ! I have lots of MANTRAS & LISTS on my Walls as Aide Memoires and Conscience Prickers !

THNAKS UNCLE ANDY ~ Reminds me of a Great Uncle of mine who kept all his money in White Fivers unders his bed to avoid paying Tax ! Trouble is soemone broke in and it vanished without trace. I (BRIAN ) have always banjked with the NATWEST for the last 20 Years and have never had any problems and i know my Money is safe with them ! I always pay off my Credit Cards every Month. Angela has her own acount also with NATWEST ! Pleased you enjoyed the presntation !

You are just newbie with Natwest, I have been with them since the nineteen sixties. I don't have credit cards, if I can't afford it I don't get it.
