Tune: Langran
('Here, O my Lord, I see thee face to face')
Revelation 1 v.20 and 2 v.1-7 parts
********
O Lord, forgive, where we first love have left
Though you have not abandoned us bereft
You Lord hold seven stars in your right hand
They be the angels of churches, each land
And too midst seven candlesticks you walk
They be your churches, you relate and talk
With them, your people, messages you gave
That faithful they be to you, who do save
Works, patience, perseverance you do see
And what our labours unto you they be
Testing out false teachers, for they do lie
And the truth of your gospel they deny
Yet help us Lord, our first love do restore
Give us repentance, may we so be sure
Of your presence, and serve you faithfully
So do establish us eternally
To such the promise that hey then shall eat
Of the tree of life, that shall be their meat* (*food)
It there found in midst of God's paradise
And shall us everlastingly suffice

Thank you Orchi
It's the false teachers I do most have problems with...
Not the true good
Have great week
Thanks Andrew.
ANGELA HERE (10:30 PM Tuesday !) Thanks for an evening uplift UNCLE STEVE. We need to seek GODS FACE in Prayer Morning - Noon - Night.
The SEVEN CHURCHES in Asia were all very different just as Denominations have been down the Ages & Still are today ! But each one is a Candestick ! Shining out for the Lord ! Some Village Churches struggle - But in NZ they all still run ALPHA COURSES and they are lively ! We should never criticise Small Christian Communities with everyone over 70 but support & encourage them. They are all SHINING LIGHTS and when we visit we should always leave a LOVE OFFERING - Amen - Thanks for CARING !
