Tune: St Peter
('How sweet the name of Jesus sounds')
Psalm 31 v.14-19
********
I trusted in you sure, O LORD
Believed your living word
I said, You are my God, and I
Trust you as days go by
My times are in your hand, save me
And me deliver, see
From the hand of my enemy
And persecutors flee
Make your face here to shine upon
Your servant, I am one
Who do trust that save me you will
For your mercies sake still
O how great your goodness it be
To those who fear you, see
It you have wrought for them that trust
In you, though we mere dust
