I was just sitting there writing words
When I had to stop.
A sound came into my ears,
A sound which stole my heart.
Mozart was with me,
Was within me as the notes played.
I was taken on a journey,
A journey into the wonder,
The wonder of his music.
Such a glorious sound,
A sound that was within me,
Showing me the power,
The power of music,
Flowing from the piano
Into my soul,
Stopping my world
Until the notes subsided.
I knew all was well,
All was well in my world,
As Mozart will be there,
Always be there, for me.

- Comment from author about the poem: This happens so often, I sit in the mornings writing poetry, listening to music and a piece come on the radio that stops me, this happened to today. The piece on the radio was Mozart's Rondo in A minor K511 being played by Misuko Uchida and that is what is on the video.

Did we meet Mozart in person? I think we did! A fine write Gold.
Oh yes, he was almost as mad as we were but he could write wonderful music, unfortunately he didn't last as long as we have, 27 January 1756 - 5 December 1791, such a shame to lose him so young.
