Stay Spooky

Jane Frye

Don't open the door tonight!
There's gremlins, and goblins, and ghosts and ghouls,
Waiting to give you a fright!
So take my advice,
You better think twice.
Don't open the door tonight!
There's vampires, and werewolves and witches, and zombies,
roaming the streets,
Looking for sweets.
By jack-o'-lantern's light!
Such a scary sight!
They'll pound on your door,
So this I implore,
Don't open the door tonight!
There's mummies, and monsters, and haunted trees.
An invisible man,
Walking through leaves.
So if you are smart,
You won't take part.
Don't open the door tonight!

Everything's right about this. It's a fun write which flows so well - great metre - loved it.

A wicked blast! ...wait, someone’s knocking, be right back

You made me laugh out loud in the grocery store. Don't open that door!
