I forgot how much you would scream, when you didn't have a feed
I forgot how much I'd be tested, with this sleep deprivation
I forgot that time, would be whatever you felt like
I forgot that vulnerability, you have every moment of life
I forgot that inner feeling, as you map out my face
I forgot the softness of your skin, would breathe start again
I forgot from the moment you'd arrive, I'd be put way past cloud 9
I forgot that key of instinctive love, until given it for the 3rd time
I forgot all the blueprints, I've laid down in the past
I forgot I'm not here, to change the world in a flash
But I'll never forget my inner promise, to my own sprouts
They will never question the reason they exist, in this world!
Because I have so much love, in my heart to be held
Forever braking the cycle with forgive & forget
Never to regret, just to create much better from it
For in a smile we live on, happy never to be forgotten

- Comment from author about the poem: Yesterday my daughter sent me a picture of five years ago! Mixed with my emotions now... Like the farmer said to the potato, I plant you now and ill reap you later! This is my latter and I sowed well, it is okay to congratulate yourself when your garden looks so beautiful! Much peace and respect, keep planting it.

A fine write Dan.
Always appreciated my dear
Envy is according to christianity a sin. I envy you my friend for the love which surrounds you and the love you have surrounded yourself with.
Sincerity
Lucky we both have many sins we can sit together with, as I can see it is just a reflection of my joy and a complement that I'll take to my bank 😉
Always appreciated
That smile will be forever with you, and her.
That it will indeed my friend because I chose it so!
Always appreciated
