come on in

dusk arising

daughter of a rich man
took my heart and set me free
just a walk away
my last futures day
we were footsteps on the beach

so come on in the waters lovely
so come on in, not too deep
let me be the one discovery
come on in,  come on in
        uncover me

she stepped on tongues
of young men's glances
with the grace of all was meant to be
but when the sun went down
she made all of me
       (all i'd ever be)
whispered

so come on in the waters lovely
so come on in to where is deep
let me hold embrace you gently
come on in, come on in
     make love with me

through the tall grass
she still whispers
where they found her, so they say
an evening star shall never set now
and tide will never wash away

so come on in, her waters lovely
so come on in above my head
and i will love you now forever
come on in, no don't you come
but oh i long to, oh how i miss you

A super lovely poem, cool and sensational. The lyrical refrain gives it a fine song like touch. Kudos for the poetry.
