Judgements for Experience.

Goldfinch60

Going through our lives we make judgements,

The good ones that we make come from experience.

Going through our lives we gain experience,

That is gained by the bad judgements that we make.

This reminds me of a phrase I once heard, goes somethin' like this. "A fool learns from his own mistakes, but a wise man learns from the mistakes of the fool". I disagree with this statement, because as your poem states - experience must be undergone personally before it can be learned. Even the wise man screws up a time or two. You tell em' Finch.

Thank you Nicholas, we all need to have our own experience to move on.

Experience is neither taught nor learnt,
        It is simply gained -
